Axel Retif: House of Flies
This is the second monographic album by the Mexican composer Axel Retif. An album that showcases a defined and structured style as an avant-garde language. Broad and powerful phrases combined with a clear sound reaffirm the significant role this young composer has taken in the Mexican cultural scene.
Electric, dynamic, roug; many words can be used to describe Axel Retif’s new album, but probably, the word that stands above all others is, unique. In this new project, the listener can find four different pieces, all with astoundingly relatable characteristics, yet, each composition possesses an individual personality.
