“Cross-Atlantic” is a collaborative album by composers that transcends geographic boundaries, uniting artistic voices from both sides of the Atlantic. Created in 2015, EMAC is a Mexico City-based ensemble of contemporary music devoted to creating a musical language proper of the 21st century. This initiative was born from its founders’ shared interest in bringing to life new pieces by daring, innovative artists.

Thrilling, vibrant, vicious; many words can be used to describe EMAC’s new album, but probably, the word that stands above all others is, remarkable. In this new project, the listener will find five different pieces, all with astoundingly relatable characteristics, yet each composition possesses an individual personality.
